Oh but MBB, I am serious. If Norma wasn't so obsessed with the VB sisters, Tash would be the permanent Centre for Australia, no doubt about it.

As far as the Von Bertouch sisters go, I would rate Tash well ahead of Laura, but marginally behind Nat.

This is some great news that was confirmed by Netball Australia on their website yesterday:

Australia’s Test match series against world number three England in February will be a crucial phase in the Diamonds preparations for the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games, and fans can now catch all the action on TEN and ONE.

The Co-operative International Netball Series is expected to be a hard fought battle on the court, as Diamonds coach Norma Plummer takes a young and eager team to the United Kingdom to play the more capped English outfit led by coach and former Australian representative Sue Hawkins.

Netball Australia Chief Executive Kate Palmer is thrilled Network Ten will broadcast the three matches in England into the homes of all Australians.

“2010 will be an exciting year for Australian netball as the Diamonds prepare for the Commonwealth Games,” Palmer said.

“The matches in England are an important phase for Norma Plummer and the team in the build up to Delhi, and I am thrilled all our fans back in Australia won’t miss a minute of the action against the world number three.”

Network Ten Head of Sport David White said that Network Ten was delighted to be able to bring Australian fans a full year of top quality netball in 2010.

"This series will launch what will be a fantastic year for Australian Netball and Network Ten. In March the ANZ Championship will kick off again on ONE and in October we will showcase the Diamonds at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi on both TEN and ONE."
